Charting New Territory

When you set off for the University of Maryland you charted new territory—new surroundings, new friends from all over the world and new experiences.

Now, you have the opportunity to chart new territory as an alumnus through the Maryland Alumni Association’s Travel 2013 program. Experience faraway adventures and enjoy culture and camaraderie as you travel with your peers.

From tours featuring the wide-ranging culture and architecture of Europe to the scenic ports of the Mediterranean and from the ancient wonders of Egypt to the history of the Civil War, an exhilarating adventure awaits you.

Our program features exciting destinations along with the benefits and conveniences that come with group travel. Embark on a vacation without worrying about how you will get there and when you will find the time to schedule activities and side-trips once you arrive. And the best part—you’ll share your journey with fellow Terps!

Past Terp Adventures

"The program provides us with an easy way to travel to places that we wouldn't normally do alone. It's also a wonderful way to meet new people and share the travel experience." – Jack and Eve Noon '65, South Africa tour

"The Samba Rhythms cruise is a time of a lifetime! I've had South America on my list of continents to visit and this trip fulfilled my goals and dreams. To top it off, the University of Maryland Alumni Travel Department scheduled the cruise around my birthday. It was a trip meant to be. Thank you!" – Phyllis McKoy
